The Blue Horse Inn is uniquely situated in the very heart of Woodstock Village and less than 500 ft from the amazing town green. The sweeping grounds overlook Mt. Tom, the Ottauquechee River, and Middle Covered Bridge in the center of town. Art galleries, restaurants, cafes, and boutique shops are all right in the neighborhood, and next door, you’ll find the Woodstock Town Hall Theater, a historic neoclassical concert hall, home to music, theater, and film events. Woodstock is the perfect location in Central Vermont with Quechee, Barnard, Killington, Bridgewater, White River Junction, and Hanover, NH, all only a short drive away.

We made the Blue Horse Inn our stay while heading up to Woodstock for the tail end of their annual “Wassail Weekend” in which they uniquely celebrate the upcoming holiday season. Besides being just a short walk from the beautiful town green, the owners served up a tasty homemade breakfast in the morning!
